Each year, this time of year, we travel down the road to Wrestlemania. In fact, for some...superstars and fans alike, the year does not truly begin until Wrestlemania.
Wrestlemania is like the Superbowl of the WWE...the biggest show of the year and always quite the spectacle. One of best parts are awaiting to see what kind of amazing entrances, elaborate costumes, and special guests they come up with each year. Going back to the Superbowl analogy, it is like the commercials meet the halftime show.
In addition, Wrestlemania usually focuses heavily on the champions and biggest rivalries. So, for this Slam Crate, powered by Loot Crate, we celebrate some of the most decorated champions on The Road to Wrestlemania .
The pin is always a different style or variety of championship belt. Though plain to view, this is one that I can appreciate, seeing as it comes from one of my favorite times in WWE...A time in the 90's when phrases like Austin 3:16 and Can You Smell What the Rock is Cookin' were coined...Behold...The Attitude Era Heavyweight Championship...

Every box, regardless of company or type, always has at least one "throwaway" item...something to act as a filler to compliment the bigger items. Topps trading card company put together this special pack featuring now former Universal Champion Kevin Owens, Four Time Women's Champion Charlotte Flair, and Sixteen time World Champion John Cena.
The recurring theme of the 90's continues.
The 90's were full of various trends and fads. Some fizzled, some do make a comeback. One of those is the fanny pack.
This unique waist pack resembles a design of a former heavyweight title and can be worn over the shoulder or around the waist, and is quite roomy and comfortable. I have had the chance to test it and was really pleased...
To those who follow any of these blogs, or any medium that The Geeky Shutterbugs offer, you are well aware of the collections that we have and how much we love our figures.
The last couple of Slam Crate boxes have had metal die cast figures, something we had already owned a couple of. They are a heavy, durable metal and very detailed. Each of the WWE release also includes a base.
This 4" figure is of the first third generation Superstar to grace us with his presence and current highest paid actor in Hollywood, The Rock.
Seth Freakin' Rollins. What more can I say? That, by today's standards, is enough. Founding member of The Shield. The Architect. From Authority kiss-ass to Redesign, Rebuild, Reclaim... And, now, main-eventing Slam Crate.
I was not always a Seth Rollins fan. I did love The Shield, but as a singles competitor, he has always kind of rubbed me the wrong way. But, he has kind of grown on me. Enough to make me pretty excited to get this shirt...
Lastly, the magazine...It not only lists what was in each box, but also has a Superstar Q & A and then unfolds to become a poster. The interview was a basic one with the daughter of the Nature Boy, Charlotte. And, the poster? His Wrestlemania undefeated streak was iconic. Generations know his name. The Phenom. The Deadman. The Undertaker.
Well, there goes another Slam Crate. It is a nice way to welcome the Wrestlemania they are calling the ultimate thrill ride.

And, if you're not down with that, I got two words for ya...
